We are professional vacation rental hosts with several properties located along Florida’s Gulf coast. We offer short-term stays at all properties; and private events with our “Hotel Takeover” at our Boutique Beach Retreat hotel.

Company Background
Our flagship property, formerly The Mardi Gras Motel, was purchased by Krystyna and Jesse Kucinski in 1991. After 30+ years of offering vacationers a cozy, comfortable, and friendly place to relax and unwind, Jesse and Krystyna handed over the reins.
Their son, Peter Kucinski, along with his business partner, Brent Venderley, and General Manager/Events Coordinator Katie Marceron, have stepped up the guest experience, and are continuing on with the Kucinski family’s legacy. In 2021, the hotel was rebranded as the Boutique, Beach, Retreat, offering more than just a change in name. This iconic hotel boasts renovated and modern everything, with hosts that pay close attention to all the details during our guests’ vacation.

Peter Kucinski
CO-FOUNDER & OWNER
I believe it’s safe to say that I was basically born into the hospitality and tourism industry. I was raised and lived on site most of my life at the Mardi Gras Motel. Now that my Mother and Father have retired and sold the hotel to Brent and I, I am keeping the family business and legacy alive and well.
I have over 30+ years in the hospitality and tourism industry and have held an active Florida Real Estate License for over 20+ years. I take tourism and hospitality very seriously, and incorporate what I’ve learned each day in my personal life and other business ventures to heart.
I own and operate several vacation rental homes in the area as well as an established boat and waverunner rental company located at John’s Pass Village and Boardwalk. My family has taught me to have a very strong work ethic and to treat others genuinely.
I welcome each and every one of you to come stay at the Boutique. Beach. Retreat. Experience what we all have worked our entire lives to create. It’s our honor to have you stay with us on your vacation.
Brent Venderley
CO-FOUNDER & OWNER
I started my real estate career over 25 years ago, after seeing “one of those infomercials”; buying and managing a portfolio of 40+ rental properties in Fort Wayne, IN.
In 2006, I decided to move to Florida’s sunnier and warmer climate. I brought my midwestern work ethic and real estate experience to the sunshine state, and continued in my real estate career. I focused on renovating foreclosed and abandoned houses, and turning them into beautiful homes for future families.
Shortly thereafter I met Pete, and we both realized that we had a lot in common, and a mutual passion for business. I decided to turn one of my rental homes into an “Airbnb”, and entered into the hospitality and vacation rental industry and fell in love.
Fast forward to 2021… Pete mentioned his parents were wanting to retire from being owner/operators of the Mardi Gras Motel. He offered me the opportunity to partner with him, bring our real estate experience together, and turn his family’s Mardi Gras Motel legacy into what we have created and rebranded together as the Boutique. Beach. Retreat.
After decades of real estate experience and property management, home renovations, and now transitioning into the hospitality and the vacation rental industry, I strive to be your 5-Star host.
